The Peter-Matt gay/straight disagreement will never be settled.
One "side" or the other wants to claim or disown him, depending on their own sexual proclivity and societal ethos. Opponents argue his sexual preferences favor their view. One, or the other side is "right," therefore the other must be "wrong." Every male in North's era did gay, straight and bi. He's the subject of intense, uninformed and vitiolic argument because he's the most visible male porn performer in the history. His contemporaries aren't included in the discussions because none of them match his 30-year reign. They're also-rans and don't matter. In the beginning -- 1983-'84 -- he was actively performing gay, straight and solo sex scenes. Sometimes certainly the same week, judging by his "work cloths," muscular appearance and hairstyle. I've spent a lot of time looking at those pieces of work -- not just the spectacular cumshots, but the "backstory" told by speech, facial expressions and his general demeanor. From the beginning, he was a phenomenon -- hung like a horse, handsome, very fit and with that explosive ejaculative ability. Whether you're straight, gay, bi or nearly dead, he had package of physical gifts that you were excited to see. The fellows who made vids didn't have to be geniuses to recognize the gold mine they had. And, for an athlete and gym rat who hung around with the boys on both "sides" in the gym he was recognized early on as a "star-in-waiting," -- or, perhaps, a "cummer." My underlying premis in this lengthy screed is that many, or most porn performers, are wired differently. To them, sexual performances are only secondarily gay/straight/solo. After the initial break-in time, the sex of the partner isn't critical. The acts become achievement oriented and the sexual thrill, or high, is tied up with the performance, praise and awe; rather than the sex act or partner. I think performers like North probably retained a definite private sexual preference but onscreen, their professional personna was focused on following the script, peak sexual performance and the cumshot. Think of it this way: A basketball player scores 50 points three consecutive nights and his peers' jaws drop, they cast admiring glances at him and load accolades on him..... North scored 50 points in almost every game he ever played, and loved the attention -- from anyone. My personal opinion -- for whatever it's worth -- is that North was not uncomfortable in full-on gay sex, greatly enjoyed the attention as an exhibitionist that his solo shots brought and was most comfortable with women. As for the "Bi Heat" videos you listed, he is only one of those videos, if memory serves me correctly it was number 5. The "Bi Heat" videos were scenes with a bisexual theme from some bisexual films produced by Zane Films. The scene with David Morris involved Sharon Mitchell hiring a couple of gigolos for some sex. The gigolos or hustlers were played by David Morris and Eric Ryan. This scene is extracted from "Times Gone Bi" which was made in 1986 by Zane Video. David Morris was in "Centurions Of Rome" which was a gay film made back in 1981, if my memory serves me correctly. He both topped and bottomed in this film. David Morris is a bisexual clip that was posted here at VEF in which David Morris is having intercourse with a lady and her boyfriend played by R.J. Reynolds shows up and has David Morris orally service his penis and then follows that up by plowing David Morris' butt. There is also a clip that was posted here at VEF called "Birthday Party" in which Jamie Gillis has sex with a lady and David Morris at one point goes down on Jamie Gillis. David Morris used the name Rocky Rockhard for three gay videos that I know of "The Night Boys" in which David Morris and Melchor Diaz have a scene together, then he was in "Danny Does Dallas" and had two gay sex scenes in that movie. Some of the titles you have listed, and I know for a fact he wasn't in "Hot On His Tail", may not have David Morris in them, because someone got David Morris confused with an actor named Brett Simms.
