One time only

Back in the early 1980's a friend of mine subscribed to the Los Angeles based ON TV which after some movie ran would often use the time (gap) until next hour by filling the show time up with some exercise programs. On Friday nights, they would debut a new routine (and bunch of sweating gals) in between two first run movies. I made it a point to stop by the friend's place and arrived between movies. He would fill me in on the earlier one, and I would sit back and watch TV then. The firm tended to run anything seen on Friday a few times the full next week.

One time, the cameraman for an excercise video got over anxious and began filming from several angles, close up, instead of backing up the taking an overall shot. This style of filming went on for next couple of months. One Friday we saw that a gal bent over and she split the crotch out of her purple leotards, right there inches away from the camera lens. Didn't show that again during the week, for instead we saw repeats of earlier excercise videos.

Couple of months later and the crotch for a leotard had slipped to one side revealing more of the gal than the lens intended. Again, one time only, and did not see that one the rest of the coming week then. Repeats again.

By about 1985 they said too many piraters, too many problems with the new video cassette industry (when a 30 minute tape cost about $80 each USD) and began to go out of business.

But.... before going out of business, ON TV converted over to senior citizen exercise videos.
