According to her official website, Lorissa McComas passed away after a long (undisclosed) illness on November 3, 2009. See

http://www.rame.net/faq/deadporn/index.html#LMcComas. Curiously, a blogger named Joe Vannicola, who claimed in 2006 to be writing an article about Lorissa, disclosed that she suffered from Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.
My efforts to locate an obituary proved fruitless, but clearly something is amiss, and eventually a death certificate will be processed and filed. I will consider it my duty to the forum to discover/uncover the circumstances surrounding her death.
