Some time ago, I watched a news story about modern day harems. Since holding innocent women as sex slaves is illegal, a number of Arab sheiks now pay beautiful women to be their harem. The younger brother of the Sultan of Brunei was one such sheik. In his "harem" were 30 paid young lovelies. At one time, Rebecca Ferratti was one of them. This news story was filmed a few years after she returned to the US. When it was suggested that she had been a prostitute, she got pissed off, and denied it. She got very defensive about it, and claimed that what she had done was no different from what a married woman does. Her reasoning was that a married woman provides sex and other comforts to her husband, and, in return, is provided for. She simply did the same. However, to my knowledge, any time a woman accepts money, or any other gifts, in exchange for sex, that means that she has engaged in prostitution. Also, she conveniently refused to see that when a husband divorces his wife, he must provide alimony until she remarries. However, if a sheik expels a concubine, she isn't entitled to anything.
