The band's music/lyrics can be strange so hit your mute button if distracted.

What a find!! The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band (as they were then called) has always been one of my favorites. If you pay attention to what's happening around the stripper you'll see George Harrison and John Lennon in front row seats in the audience. The song is a prime example of early camp. Certainly 1960s.
The song is on their LP Gorilla, released 1967.
See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_C...tie_%28song%29

from that:
" The song is one of the better known songs in the Bonzo Dog Band canon because it was featured in the Beatles' television film Magical Mystery Tour. Performed on stage by the Bonzos at the Raymond Revuebar in London, it was the accompaniment for a striptease act performed by Jan Carson while she was ogled by club customers including John Lennon and George Harrison."

Now we know the name of the star too!
