First, check this post for a repost of the above video:

I ran across a recently uploaded video on YouTube from 1979, called "Playboy's Roller Disco & Pajama Party", which was broadcast on ABC and hosted by Richard Dawson. I vaguely remember some Playboy programming on network TV, but I don't remember this special. All 4 parts have been uploaded, and mentioned in a couple of other threads on VEF, but for the purposes of this thread, Victoria is interviewed in Part 3, at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw50iMXg6rE.

For reference:
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mPGPdD2R8g
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRSBPgmwwkI
Part 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MN5qBoDNvN0

This video really is fabulous, and required viewing for all vintage Playboy fans...definitely a time capsule of late 70s TV and golden-era Playboy. There's a Chuck Mangione number, slow motion of Playboy models roller skating, old commercials, a local newscaster who suggested that viewers "turning off the TV in disgust" should return in a half-hour for the news (obviously 10 PM fare), and way too much Village People (who, I think, was at the wrong party). Most of the YouTube comments revolve around Dorothy Stratten's appearance and the lame, lame bits that Dawson did with her.

Five models were interviewed as Playmates-to-be, in a segment called "Playmates of the 1980s". Two, only identified as Phyllis and Karen, were never Playmates, I believe. Videos of these two were not featured after the interviews, as there were for the other three Playmates. Seated at the table, from left to right, were Jeana Tomasino, "Karen", "Phyllis", Kym Herrin, and Victoria Cooke. Does anyone recognize Karen & Phyllis?

Following the interview are edited down, with plenty of strategically placed clothing and props, of course, videos, mainly of the centerfold shoot, as follows:

Victoria Cooke (Aug. 1980) at 13:57
Jeana Tomasino (Nov. 1980) at 15:40
Kym Herrin (May 1982) at 17:43

These videos bring up a couple of issues. First, holy crap, this was on broadcast TV in 1979???!!! Damn, times have changed, for the worse, much, much worse.

Second, some other posters have assumed that full profiles exist for these three because of the unedited versions, which have been posted already elsewhere on VEF. In retrospect, it's possible that these videos were filmed strictly as segments for this ABC show, during the Playmates' original shoot, with the unedited versions being released later on PBC, and that full profiles, beyond what already is known, do not exist, nor ever have existed. Any thoughts?

I do also wonder what happened with Phyllis and Karen (not Price or Witter, I think).

One other note: I'm posting this in the threads for Victoria Cooke, Jeana Tomasino, and Kym Herrin...thanks for your patience.
