She actually died much earlier than that.
The German weekly Praline reported her death in their issue from 13 March 1975, saying that she had been found dead on Monday. I think there also was an article about her 3 days earlier in another weekly (Neue Revue), probably already reporting her death.
Her later movie appearances used archive material.
