Marilyn Monroe; 1952 Philippe Halsman shoot; Daily Mail 17/4/12
I had a quick check, and I think these should be new to the thread . According to the newspaper report, they're previously-unpublished Philippe Halsman images of Marilyn from 1952, taken in her apartment:
Note the location, the same window and bookshelves as in the b/w Halsman pics posted by Attilla earlier in the thread- compare with the third pic... They feature in a new book, 'Marilyn by Magnum' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ary-death.html (credit to Attilla for the comparison pic: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/showpost.php?p=1291131&postcount=331 ) Last edited by Historian; September 9th, 2014 at 04:27 PM.. Organized Portfolio
Since Norma Jean is so iconic, I decided to pick out 25 of my favorite pictures for editing. Each one is converted as follows:

Something's Got to Give (pool scene)
Some notes:
This is probably the best-known film which was never finished. Marilyn rarely showed up at work, and 20th Century Fox finally threw in the towel. The parts which were shot have been assembled into a sort of "semi-film" with a length of about thirty-five and a half minutes. The quality is not up to my usual standard - details are rough and lines are jagged - but I guess you cannot ask a studio to re-master a film which was never actually released. It is what it is. There are some other clips and stills which I will post later. With all that said, I give you
