Yes, there working on it, there lots of other priorities that need to be fixed first, before they can get to it.

it would appear it sometimes turns up when you hit submit reply for an editing or post

Judging by the few double posts around people are wrongly assuming the message means the edit/post was unsuccessful

Warning re the edit feature - DON'T USE IT until the all clear is given by the staff.

I made an edit in the middle of a comprehensive post and it wiped out everything below the point of the edit.

I had trouble editing too, which made me switch to the most basic editor under options.

Can the admins give us a status on how things are going with fixing the site ? First - obviously the site and what you do to keep it running are much appreciated - and if it is a money matter - I would gladly contribute to any kind of paypal whipround you might do to raise some $£€ and I imagine others would.

Reading between the lines it seems you use vBulletin and you have obviously got some asshat(s) hacking and exploiting VEF - and this has caused you to disable various plugins and whatever else you have done that causes VEF to have reduced functionality and either gateway fail, DB fail or connection fail or just be really slow.

So what is the status ? is there a status discussion and I am just not finding it ? As a webdev and programmer myself I guess I am just interested and curious as to how its going, and looking forward to you getting 100% back on line.

Anyway, good luck with repairs, thanks for the great site and happy Holidays to all.
