The old Green Shield Stamps catalogue used to have pics of women in the shower ... and you could see their bums! Very exciting stuff when you're about 10.

Not just the 50s-70s! I was happily enjoying the Freemans catelogue in the late 80s. Looking through the lingere, hoping for a hint of bush or a model with quite dark nipples to show through.

I used to enjoy the arrival of the Kays and Empire Stores catalouge. Spring/Summer for the bonus of swimwear and Autumn/Winter for the more sultry underwear.
I would also rip out pages from the old ones. I forgot to retrieve one from beneath the settee in the lounge. Slightly embarrased when my mum left it for me on the bed.

I thought it was just me and my best mate who were into catalogues to that extent...

Kays Autumn/Winter 1987 was my first...any lingerie featuring lots of revealing lace was desribed as "Daring!" And as this was the 80s and airbrushing wasn't really done I can remember some very nice "daring" undies in that issue....

Dorothy Perkins always did nice lingerie (esp black suspender belts and bikini briefs) and black stockings in the 80s (not mail order I know) but times have changed and they do more vanilla lingerie and only sell socks and tights, I still feel nostalgic for those days.

Had lots of fun from the lingerie pages of catalogues. Early seventies there were lots of slips and half slips and models looking hot sa they wore them.
