Censorship is an growing problem, nothing good ever came from it.
About a month ago, Google announced Google Public DNS, a new means by which users can utilize the Google DNS servers to access the Internet. http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...2356633,00.asp And here is how to use it from google. http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using.html The Google Public DNS IP addresses are as follows: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 Before you make any changes, Google strongly recommends, that users copy down their existing settings. Homever trusting Google with this additional info might be too close for comfort, especially if you are using the Chrome Operating System. You are putting all your eggs in one basket... In the end it is good to have DNS alternatives: Your ISP OpenDNS and now Google Public DNS /trm |

Its a good alternative but only if the censorship of hosts keeps stretching
I can see a day when all file hosts which allow adult content will largely be nobbled as getting an ISP to come on board is a whole lot easer than convincing the courts that the creators of file sharing software are liable for all copyright abuses Lets pray ISPs see their shitting in their own nests by using such lists |

Imagevenue
I have a premium account with Imagevenue. I have emailed a couple of account related questions to them over the past month or so without getting a reply. Does anyone know how to get a response out of these folks?
Thanks all...

With great difficulty it would seem
http://reports.internic.net/cgi/whoi...OM&type=domain They look to be based in Canada hosted by tucows inc http://reports.internic.net/cgi/whoi...type=registrar Maybe trying this site will find a live part of their operation or at least someone who thinks your questions worth responding to.My experience with almost anything North American is they will simply ignore you and never tell you why...ccbill were exactly the same and as i found out the reason was my membership queries were under a USD100-00 - they simply dont respond because its not financially in their best interests...believe it or not using the domain name http://www.contactprivacy.com/ Domain Name: IMAGEVENUE.COM Registrar: TUCOWS INC. Thanks buttsie for your reply. It's pretty disgusting when you pay for a premium service and you can't even get a reply to a question that would take 15 seconds to answer.

I'm on their home page and I don't even see an option to pay. What's going on here?

Right on -
I am presently trying to subscribe to another premium account (for business use) and I cannot see any way to do it. I subscribed last time using PayPal but I don't remember how I accomplished it. They have not replied to my last query (3rd one) asking about the procedure for paying.
