Photog "Gern Blanson" on his work with Anna:

"I Shot Ann Ventura in June of 1980. At that time large natural boobs were popular and Magazines like 'Gent' were hungry for sets of girls with a D cup bra size. The day Ann walked into the world modeling agency in the San Fernando Valley in the summer of 1980, I new she was going to be an in demand nude model.

Jim South gave her a list of photographers, took at least 10 polaroids, then asked any photographer in the office at the time if they would like to take a look at her nude and take some polaroids to show a publisher. My interest was to use the test shots a way to see just how she responded to the camera...She was great and I book for for the next day. In those days 'Chic' and 'Hustler' paid very good for a 3 day modeling session, so that would be her first stop. Ron Vogel was next I was also on the list, but I was right there so I just booked her.

I shot her 5 different times over the next couple of years. she never failed to get work and was always in demand. She appeared in 'Penthouse', 'Hustler', 'Chic', 'Oui' and dozens of other men's magazines, and photographers would come in to Los Angeles from all over the world to shoot her. German, English and Japanese lens men would show tear sheets out of nude magazines to Jim and ask "do you have this model?".

Ann did some movies at the time, but not a lot as the girls do today. She posed for 2 or 3 years and I think she quit the nude modeling business after 3 years."

The layouts are familiar, but I think many of these have never been seen. Maybe a bigger fan than myself could confirm or deny.
