After her short marriage to Bent Warburg, she married a photog and got a degree from a business school - no kidding.

Anne Bie was most probably never a porn performer per se. The only person she went a bit further with was her then husband, Bent Warburg (her scenes with Harry Reems in "Bel Ami" might be hard, but I'm not sure). Bent and Bie were both children of the liberated Danish sixties and were probably not against breaking some taboos. Later on, Bent (an actor, rather than a "model") have reportedly said that his career possibly suffered from these "X-cursions". He's still around, though, doing some finely tuned supporting parts in Danish mainstream cinema.

As for Anne Bie, the reason she's sometimes confused with Anne Birch might stem from a Danish film database that got things wrong some years ago, this info then spread to IMBd and then to everywhere else.

She's alive and well, which was proved a while back at danskefilm.dk, a Danish forum, where her son Alexander posted a couple of times. He wrote that she met and married an Englishman, but she's still good friends with Bent (Alexander refers to him an "almost an uncle to me").

I have regrettably never read an interview with her. It would be very interesting. She was truly one of the most beautiful faces of the sexy seventies.

Thanks Mulholand. You are correct. I studied her movie scenes and it appears the same man (husband) is the only one she is engaged with in hardcore sex. With the sex scene with Harry Reems in Bel Ami Anne is wearing white high heel shoes, however, when you watch the hardcore penetration scene you clearly see a woman with bare feet. I'm still trying to figure out the guy she's with in the circus movie from 1973, "La foire aux sexes" I think it's her husband, but I'm not sure. It was made prior to the horoscope movies.

It's definitely Bent Warburg in "La Foire aux Sexes", too. Isn't he credited and all? He should be, as he plays the lead.

I've read somewhere that they met during the production of "Sign of Virgo", the first Zodiac, which came out in 1973. "Foire" would then be their second film together. They also have sex scenes in "Taurus" (1974) and "Gemini" (1975), but not in "Leo" (1976) or "Scorpio" (1977, where Anne Bie only has a brief cameo).

Their scenes in "Foire" seem very real and intimate, almost like sharing a private moment, rather than "just" a performance. And she was rarely lovelier, our Bie.

As for the actual sucking, the double here is very likely for Anne Bie. Look closely. Although the above clip ends quite abruptly, it looks like another girl (slightly made up to look like Anne Bie) going down on the guy (there's a similar scene in "Flossie", when Marie Forså goes down on Jack Frank, but it's really another girl).
