Others who have experienced the same message invariably never find out why but it fixes itself going by where that error message leads to on google

I'd bet its some kind of temporary glitch on your computer or connection

Maybe cleaning out your temporary internet folder with something like cc cleaner will help give the new browser no old remnants of failed uploads to find

Personally I'd use another host and come back in few days time

Whilst on ImageBam subject, I get a different problem.

Some images are not loaded for unknown reasons and produce a message like this one:

Image (Konsace_9.jpg) has been banned from ImageBam.

I can reload the image successfully by renaming it and by reducing the size by just 1 pixel. The curious thing is that the rejected images are never too large in the first place.

I have had the same problem with some images, and simply resorted to using Imagevenue instead. No problems - so far- with that.

As regards updates, I did update Avast and Java. Something with the Java update stopped me accessing my e mails too. I have gotten round that problem by using Firefox instead of IE. One problem solved, now it's Imagebam!
I checked my computer for malware, no problems there.

BTW. Buttsie, I do regularly clear out the folders and run CC cleaner at least once a week, and check the registry too.

ADW Cleaner is a nice anti malware tool too.

Im going to make a small suggestion. I use waterfox, its firefox in a 64 bit application, uses the same plugins that firefox does. Give that a shot if you can....you can only use it though if your o/s is a 64 bit system.

64 bit?, I don't know about that, but if it doesn't stop playing up my system will be in a lot more than 64 bits!

To be honest I haven't a clue, but as my pc is somewhat antiquated it probably isn't. Oh and my modem is a mobile one! That has a speed of about 9kbs (down hill with a tail wind), and 5-6kbs normally if I'm lucky, just to add insult to injury!

Currently having problems too.
I was going to get some pics of the Tobi Pacific thread but most the ones on Imagebam give me an error message.
For example this one:
http://www.imagebam.com/image/a52d6f25988446/

All I get when trying to save is this error message:

That is with Opera(12.16) and the latest FF, the ImageHost Grabber plugin for FF also doesn't get them downloaded.

Tried now with IE and Opera but no luck and JD2 shows them as offline.
Wouldn't they be completely gone if they were really offline?

I just grabbed the example you linked above with a simple "right click, save image as" with FF so the image is there. Not sure what might be causing the issue you're having...

I have just clicked on the image, right click and 'save image as', that gave me no problem. Using the save button on the host, I have the same problem and message. But 'save image as' with a right click worked first time and the image saved to my PC ok.

Having bookmarked imagebam on my Firefox menu, I have had no problems today using imagebam. IE just doesn't want to know. Whether it is IE, Java or the Avast programme I do not know, but for the moment, Firefox seems to be ok with this.

Thanks to all who have helped with advice and suggestions, I'll keep them handy, just in case!
