Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 50

Could be either the host is down

Its not a good sign when it says not on server or doesnt exist
Only waiting a few days will tell you for sure if the host is having difficulties and the image still exists

I've noticed both imagebam and today imagevenue are playing funny buggers at the moment

best to try several different browsers from your end

Then link to an example and let others test it

Just had a look at my old imagebam picture posts and theres nothing to see

Hopefully just a server issue which isnt a HACK as in the past they've always given warning about pending maintenance which will mean serious outages like this

I'm getting the same response too. Looks like www.imagebam.com is down. I pinged their site IP is 208.100.30.161 and it responded. So it could be server issues.

Still inaccessible in Australia so I'd bet their slowly fixing what ever the issue is

From the "Server does not exist" errors people are reporting, I'd guess that there was some bad DNS entry that got propagated and people are able to re-connect at the fix chases the bad entry 'round the 'Net.

While imagebam seems to be causing freezing of pages as they try and load for me using firefox 3.6 the google chrome browser has no such issues.Just shows all the pics as dead

As far as I'm concerned all imagehosts,even imagevenue,have these outages so to rely on just 1 in a single post is asking for issues down the track

image hosts backed up via a filehost link like multi-upload would seem to be smart thesedays

Ok, this afternoon it was up. The pics were back. Now it's gone again. Damn, all the fine pics that were on there. One of the mods told me months ago I needed to use it if I wanted to post on here, so I did...

What is imagevenue? Does it work like imagebam?

Let's hope they get the bugs worked out.
