Vintage erotica in our painting
Hello!
We are engaged in painting. We love the work of photographers who worked in the field of erotic photography in the seventies and eighties. Some of them created real art. Art that is now known only to a few collectors and amateurs. Here we decided to post some of our works, drawn from photographs posted on this forum. These works are drawn in pastels. If you like our works, then in the future we will publish our other works, drawn with different art materials. We look forward to your comments about our work. If you suddenly have any questions regarding our work, please write to Personal Messages. The first work is drawn from an image from the 1977 Mintex calendar. Model: Lise-Lotte. Brandy Ledford: Jenny Wood: Emma Nixon: Julia Hayes: Amiee Rickards: Last edited by Oaks; March 1st, 2024 at 09:35 AM.. |

Hello Oaks, and welcome to the forum.
Very good first post. I was wondering, have you had the photo in one part of your screen and you've used a painting program and it's brushes etc. to paint the image onto a blank bit, as if onto a blank canvas, or have you used the painting program on the photo itself and turned it into what looks like a painting?

Hello, seany65! This is not computer graphics. This is handmade. All works are hand-drawn with pastel pencils on Sennelier La Carte Pastel paper. I specifically posted photographs from which the works were drawn and the finished works for comparison to show the quality of the works. We have been painting for a long time. We work with oil paints, acrylic paints, and other art materials. We draw portraits and stuff. It is always interesting to draw the human body and female beauty. In the future, I plan to post here our other works drawn with different art materials. Of course, it will not be computer graphics, but only handmade. Thank you for your message.

Oaks, I asked if you'd used a program to turn photos into paintings because of the attention to tiny details that you put into the pictures, such as the gold thing that Aimee Rickards is wearing, but I've had another look at them all and I can see that there are very slight differences in various places so all I can say is well done.

Agreed, well done Oaks! I have trouble drawing a straight line with a ruler....
