I remember the early Sweeneys having a few good scenes - including one where a girl is topless in her bedroom doing handstands while Carter watches? Could be false memory!

Am fairly sure that was 'In from the cold' from '76. Carter and Regan pay this wife (Maureen Sweeney) a visit about half way through the ep and she is topless with her arms in the air (stretching or yoga) and she turns round to flash them.

Half right its Miranda Bell they visit and she's sitting in front of her dressing table topless (rear view) and she flashes Regan & Carter (Again a rear view) I just watched it. Maureen Sweeney is in that episode as well.

Full credit to 'reading67' for spotting that Gemma Jones in the 1970 'Play for Today' entitled 'The Lie' is now available from that source but no clip has yet been produced - not totally surprising really as that process is not straightforward. So I have rebuilt my original clip (which was from the studio tape) in higher definition quality for this post.

She appeared in quite a lot of programmes in the early 70s in some regular roles (including the Tuppence Middleton role in the 1972 version of War & Peace), but was not known to have done any topless scenes until this previously unknown-about scene in an ITV legal drama called Justice, starring Margaret Lockwood, came to light courtesy of a DVD boxset release.

She appeared as a guest star in a series 2 episode from 1973 entitled Malicious Damage playing the wife of a possessive millionaire played by Paul Eddington. She is posing for an artist friend when her suspicious husband barges in.

Full credit to 'know-see' for spotting this one. Here is a clip of the uncredited nude model in the BBC's 'Monitor' series, this production entitled 'Always on Sunday' aka 'Henri Rousseau - Sunday Painter'. This was TX'd in June 1965 so is probably the earliest clip on this great thread.
