Ah! I understand what you want to do now, I've done it myself. What you'd do is take a series of snaps, then upload them to the image host, get the code, and post.

This is pretty easy to do on Imagevenue. I've never used Imagebam, so I can't help you there. But if you want to post something similar to grossnex's post, it's pretty straightforward. VLC has the ability to take a snap at any point in a movie; I'd expect the same of any other decent media player.

On Imagevenue, you'd simply create a directory, upload the sequence, then ask IV for the code for the entire directory. Piece of cake...

also grossnex has added a space between each thumbnail (a windows space, not a pure DOS _ space) which makes them lay out sequentially (depending on the users Browser settings)

hello VEF community!

is anybody else having some slight issues with images "no longer existing" on
ImageVenue lately? just a few days after the initial upload??

in the past 4 days I've re-upped some images that were put up 3 days ago.
usually only one, mind you, but it's still a tad bit frustrating.

(seeing a little white box with a red X in it, where a naked woman once was, is a bummer!)

anyway, I'm not losing sleep over it! just thought I'd inquire before I throw my
computer off a cliff.

I have this issue nearly permanently - the older the posts the worse.

To my knowledge ImageBam is the most reliable image host.

Imagevenue goes thru periods where that happens. After a while the problem clears up.

I'm struggling with Imagevenue and Imagebam at the moment, have been since 15.30 (14/09/10). Can't upload at all to venue and I/O and missing uploads errors on bam.

I wonder if Halo Reach has overloaded the internet?
