Tombstone was on the other day, and during Val's scenes, I couldn't help but get a lil teary-eyed over Max still being gone.

I miss him every time I log on VEF.
He's in my thoughts every time I log on VEF. We were'nt "close friends" (we didn't share PMs every 3 days) but when I was mod and long time after, we're both always happy of new questions about VEF democracy. When new members sign on VEF, they should be required to read Max's posts first. to understand the best, the most informed, most distanced, friendliest and deepest of VEF. As a leader loved by all - he was aware of this - he was discreet about his deep convictions. We have shared, sometimes, on this subject: I have nothing to reveal, simply his integrity and his courage.

I never did ask Max if he liked the other notable portrayal of Doc Holliday by Dennis Quaid in the movie Wyatt Earp. while not as flaboyant and overtly funny as Val Kilmer's performance, he sure had his moments.
