Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 15

I use Firefox with Adblock and No Script installed, this is a screenie of what I see when on imagebam

No ads, no 'loud and bass busting soundtrack', no bullshit - just the pics

I'd say it was near enough the perfect image host if it wasn't for the fact guys like Futuro and others have problems configuring imagegrabber to suit their systems.

Imagevenue is ok but it takes twice as long to upload images, has a 40 pic limit and has a annoying habit of rearranging photo sets into random orders

I still use both but prefer imagebam tbh

But you can't batch upload images with sharenxs, you have to manually select them one by one, it would be a pain in the ass to do this with every gallery you want to upload.

Despite all of its problems, I still think that Imagebam is the best option for uploading whole galleries.

Correct, Imagevenue is great for single images, but it sucks when it comes to full galleries.

Imagevenue has always been my preferred host for images...I find if waiting for a site to load and waiting at the same time to download from imagebam almost everytime the pic from imagebam fails to load (very fustrating)

I am having the same problem with Imagevenue now...at least in Firefox. Almost every pic I click comes up with the countdown--as it has for months--but now the URL mysteriously ends in "uploadimg-aff.php." I click the link after the countdown and it just starts over again. WTF??

Sound advice...good opportunity to trial run Opera

My best guess is all the delays which seem like technical issues are deliberate as I've seen it happen before on other hosts.Used to be a time when there were no ads,no delays etc

Just incase its an issue with the host itself,from the FAQ their email addy if you have issues

I have never encountered the countdown you mentioned on imagevenue or any other problems but did you try to disable javascipt on imagevenue?, that might help:
