These are small pics from reviews of the videos Cum Rain, Cum Shine and Spellbound (which they give as two words: "Spell Bound").




The first two are from Cum Rain, Cum Shine. I've included the caption under the first pic, but haven't included the three pics mentioned in which Frankie didn't appear. (I'll be posting the two with Carol Cummings on her thread later.)

The third and fourth pics are from Spellbound, another video which also starred Carol Cummings, whose name appears in the caption under the fourth pic (this time, I cut off most of the text.) The circle inset in the third pic is of Frankie and Sascha. The larger tilted pic is with Rick Savage. The fourth pic is with Jeff James, and the reviewer (Aron Cope) mentions that the same scene with James appears in another video, The Aroused.

Here're the front and back covers and spine for Spellbound, with Frankie Leigh on the covers.



Though the front cover makes the title look like two words, on the spine and the back cover it's one word, and it's also one word in the video's on-screen credits. The scan of the front cover includes the spine, which has a small pic of Frankie at its top, and the third pic here is a blowup of the spine pic. (Later: all three thumbnails above went dead, and I don't have a replacement handy of the front cover with the spine, so I'll have to replace the first scan when I have a chance. In the meantime, here's a stopgap.)

Frankie has two scenes. The first is an unusual one with Sasha where Frankie's character is imagining that she's actually making it with Rick Savage's character, and sometimes she and Sasha are on camera, while sometimes it's Savage and Frankie, and so on.

The second is with Jeff James, intercut with a simultaneous scene with Carol Cummings and Rick Savage going at it. Carol has an earlier scene with James, which is supposed to be happening in the imagination of James' character. Fortunately, all this imagining in the video uses real, live actors.

I've seen a review of this video in a skin magazine (but don't remember which one) in which the interviewer lamented that Frankie had announced her departure from porn. If the reviewer had the facts right, Spellbound may have been one of Frankie's last videos.

As I mentioned here, Hustler Erotic Video Guide, November 1989, reviewed this video, and stated that Frankie and Jeff James' scene also appears in another video, The Aroused, presumably without being intercut with Carol Cummings' scene. Incidentally, that magazine's review is not the one which stated that the lady was retiring from porn.

This is the review I referred to when I posted the covers for the box for Spellbound, mentioning that it said that the lady was retiring from adult videos. Here's the earlier posting:

The first four pics, in the top row, are full-page scans. The five which follow, in the second and third rows, are tight scans of the inset pics from three of the four pages.

The review says that Frankie's first scene is with Lynn LeMay (and Rick Savage), but I think the blonde is actually Sasha, also known as Sasha Strange.

The review also had pics of co-star Carol Cummings, but if I post those, it'll be in Carol's thread.

The same issue also had a review of Love on the Run, with this page-and -a-half pic of Frankie and Mike Horner.
