A million to one shot here but does anyone remember a program about 18th-19th century artists / painters on Channel 4 I think possibly round about 9:00pm on a Sunday night? Must have been mid to late 80's. There would be a different artist each week done in a documentry style with dramatic recreations. One week there was an artist viewing a model who stripped full frontal and he gave her some money.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as that's all I can remember about it. I can't for the life of me even think of the porgrams title and I'm not 100% sure I've got the details right either! Hopefully someone will know something about it.

P.S. I didn't dream about it as my Dad used to tape it each week probably hoping there would be nudity and what would you know the old fox was right. The tape is sadly long gone.

Thanks for replying. I don't think it was 'Artists and Models' as that came up when I was searching this thread. I'm currently working my way through the youtube videos but there seems to be too much nudity if that makes sense.

The program I'm thinking about was one of those channel 4 treats where you would suddenly get a quick full frontal for no real reason other than to keep us happy I guess. It was also definetly more documentary than drama but with those re-enactment type things that are now popular in history programs.
