Seem to remember both Candy Davies and Julia Humpherys, both of whom have threads on this forum, got them out on the show on separate episodes

Yes it was Ellen Thomas, but the recurring joke in the series every week was that she was interrupted whilst stripping, by the programme ending or the lights going out or camera zooming away etc. so she was never seen topless properly.

on the last show ever the camera zoomed away but using freeze frame and frame advance you could get a slightly out of focus view!!! I remember as she took her top off she shouted out to Tarrant and he looked round and said " bloody hell!!!"

Another contributor to that thread suggests the scene you describe might be in the ITV series 'Thriller'. That ran from 1973-1976 but I don't see it on her IMDB CV. And she also did a medium-distance nude scene from behind in 'Solo' apparently, though some suggest a BD was used here. The stage play where she did get stark-b*llock naked is Tom Stoppard's 'Indian Ink' as previously mentioned in this thread.

Heres a tricky request,many years ago,approx 1992 I was watching a British drama I seem to remember it being about women getting into politics either during or just after WW2.Anyway the main female lead(at least in my mind)takes a youngish soldier in uniform back to her fairly seedy flat.She then proceeds much to his amazement to strip full frontal,and says well then.

This is the scene which has burnt itself into my memory,unforunately at the cost of all other details like programme name or plot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
