Be interesting to see how Slot fares at Liverpool. Life after Jurgen maybe eerily similar to how United fared after Fergie - you have the aging remnants of the "glory" squad - Salah, Robertson, Virgil etc and a few that you would expect to move on Thiago etc and what do you do with someone like Matip who is a very good player when he is on the pitch - it's just he can't seem to find the doorknob of the medical room to get out of it!

I think Slot will do well. He's much in the same mould as Klopp albeit with less experience. And they do have a very decent crop of youngsters. The best one in the ranks is Ben Doak who hasn't even played this season due to injury and is Scotland's brightest prospect in years.

Typical prima donna behaviour from Salah yesterday. His form has been poor so he deserved to be dropped. Arguing with the manager is hardly a seemly sight no matter what might have been said.

We fielded two born and bred lads in the win over Sunderland I'm pleased to say albeit I did not go to the end of term finale and seemingly many others didn't either. Jack Grieves was born around the corner from me.

His great great grandfather was legendary for us anyway Watford keeper Skilly Williams whose son Reg played many games for us as wingback before joining Chelsea back in the forties along with several other footballing uncles. He is a Hornets fan too as is Ryan Andrews son of former Hornet Wayne and weighed in with another goal. He's developing nicely and has been called up for England u20s. Just hope he sticks with us.

Yasser Asprilla will be off in the summer for certain. I hope we get 30-40M for him so we can restructure the squad which has some nice elements to it for next season and give Cleverly the support he requires.

Poor old Scunny missed out penalties to the final that sees promotion to the National League. They finished 13 points clear of them in the regular season. I look out for them given GT's links to them and also a good photographer friend is a ST holder and they have been through the mill in recent years with several shysters trying to destroy the club.

In Copa news Messi seems to be warming up nicely as Miami head the MLS. Enzo Fernandez has had the surgery he needs and will be fine for the Copa as should Emi Martinez. Casemiro based on his recent performances should miss out on selection for the selecao.

Leverkusen scored in the 96th minute against Vfb Stuttgart to preserve their unbeaten record as well.

VAR and Michael Oliver, his last visit was Chelsea 1-4 and we all know what him and VAR did that night. NBC claim he was told to look at the screen after the Kulishevski incident and he refused?? And of course he didn't see Davies kicked in the b*****s from 5 yards so he had to look that time. Oh! and he supports the Geordies??!!

And never mind that the MVDV goal that was disallowed, the last touch came of a gooner and the shove in the back too on Mickey on one of the other goals too.

Squeaky bum time at the top of the Championship as Leeds have a wobble at Loftus Road, while Ipswich fight out a draw at Hull. Ipswich away at Coventry mid week & final day Leeds host Southampton, while Huddersfield visit the Tractor Boys.

Huddersfield are already down so won't have an issue rolling over to make sure Leeds have to go through the play-offs.

The Prem will sign up for it again next year, read yesterday they have issued 13 apologies so far this season.

A question for both of you, Spurs v Man City, going to do The Gooners a favour?

Knowing us we will beat Citeh and hand the title to the Nomads, think I will just bury my head in the sand and hope that at the end of the day football is the winner

None of those games City has left are gimmies (Wolves, FUlham, Spurs & Hammers). If each of one of those teams play at their best, there's some draws in there.

I hope Spurs just get into Europe, CL got boring, Madrid every year Milan every year, Dortmund every year. I wanna go back to places like Maribor, Moldova and Oh! Florence is always one of the Uefa places we keep going!!
