Hayley Marie Norman, whose father is retired major league baseball player Gregory Norman (who won a 'world' Series as a member of the Detroit Tigers), traveled extensively and lived a life of privilege as a child and is now a model, who has appeared in the movies, including 'Fired Up', 'Hancock',' Trailer Park of Terror', and 'Norbit', and also modeled briefcase #25 on the US version of the TV show "Deal or No Deal" (how minor a celeb is that! ) ... actually there is a bit more, she has had roles on several television shows including the cable network series 'Crash', the soap opera 'The Young and The Restless', and 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip' .... she's done some other stuff more recently.

Well enough of her resume, no really, that's it, one paragraph about sums it up ... anyway she was arrested last Friday .... now this is a new one for this thread, for allegedly texting (SMS) a very nasty word (or two) to her ex-fiance's new girlfriend ... and the words that caused this dramatic turn of events "You're a F*cking C*nt" ... (and that ain't 'Kant').

Ms Norman turned herself in to police in Los Angeles Friday afternoon, after her ex's new girl friend informed the police that she had received an obscene text message from Norman last week ... unfortunately there is circumstantial evidence to suggest that this may not be the only offence she gets charged with. Law enforcement sources reported to the press that the new girl friend had also complained that someone (well Ms Norman) had vandalized the outside of her apartment by writing various messages ... including "This girl sucks dicks for free" and "This girl is a f*cking c*nt" ... not proof positive I know, but highly suggestive that further charges will be forthcoming.

Norman was booked on the misdemeanor charge of making obscene or threatening phone calls ... and was released from custody just a few hours later. Efforts to talk to Ms Norman's agent was not returned .... I was wondering if the agency is the same one that represents so many of the models on this thread?

SueLyn Medeiros is a Brazilian bikini model and a hard partying 'video vixen', so consequently, very good looking, in a booty enhanced kinda way. She apparently models (oddly she is the face of a Fire alarm), and dances for music videos. There have been rumors of relationships with celebs ranging from 50 Cent to Leonardo DiCaprio ....

Anyway, fame isn't the only thing to go to her head, apparently alcohol does as well. So its probably no big surprise that in July, the police in California arrested Ms Medeiros on a Drunk Under the Influence (DUI) charge after she allegedly sideswiped a parked car, according to reports. Police investigators reported that the 25-year-old was pulled over in Hollywood after crashing her DeLorean (Yes, the 'back to the future' car!) into a parked car. Police say a "strong odor" of alcohol was prevalent inside the car. Medeiros was riding with Claudia Jordan at the time, and was arrested by police after failing a field sobriety test and blowing a 1.4, nearly double the legal limit in California.

Medeiros was held under $45,000 bail due to a prior arrest warrant ... the subject of which has not been revealed (but which will no doubt come to light in court), apparently she then flew to Las Vegas for a party On very much of a side note, the apparent willingness of the US to refuse green cards to Chinese engineers, but allow them to Brazilian 'Booty' dancers may go a long way to explain the expected rise of the Chinese economy to #1

Carolyn Murphy is an American model and actress. Like many a clothes horse, she left school at age 16 and began her career when her mother enrolled her in a modeling school. Soon, she was modeling locally in Florida, as well as abroad in Japan and Paris .... Murphy enrolled at the University of Virginia, while modeling part-time. She modelled for 'Harpers Bazaa'r and 'Vogue', and for campaigns like 'Dolce Gabbana', 'Max Mara', and 'Calvin Klein' and in 1998, she was named VH1/Vogue's "Model of the Year". In 2001, Estee Lauder signed Murphy to an exclusive contract, where she replaced Liz Hurley.

She is not a shy girl and a career in films seemingly beckoned. She had the role of "Dubbie" in the film 'Liberty Heights', and she was allegedly offered a role in "Pearl Harbor" with many other offers expected to follow, but in fact she has only played in the one movie to date.

Her big 'Oops!' was the discovery of the home video camera ..... where her and her husband practised for a film career, by filming the ubiquitous 'honeymoon sex tape' .... this was retained by her ex-husband after they split up in 2005. Jake Schroeder was charged with extortion after being arrested in January 2006, and was held behind bars for five days in California before being released on $33,000 (£18,000) bail.

The bail money for Schroeder was put up by the Internet Commerce Group (ICG) - the company trying to market the two-hour long video, who added that "Our position is that no crime has been committed. You cannot commit extortion by offering to sell something you own. Rather than risking a battle in civil court, where she might lose and see the tape released, Carolyn has decided to simply fabricate a false extortion claim against Schroeder".

Murphy countered "Of course I don't want the tape to come out. It is private and intimate moments from my honeymoon with a man I thought I could trust. It has turned out I was completely wrong" .... how true those words will echo with many of the girls featured here.

Barbara Walters (born September 25, 1929) is an American broadcast journalist and author, who is the host and producer of the television show The View, the television newsmagazine (20/20), former co-anchor of the ABC Evening News, and current contributor to ABC News.

Her reported pension to sleep with key decision makers to further her career has been common gossip throughout the industry yet not refuted in her own autobiography.

She has been married 4 times and has been romantically linked to countless men without regard to the marital status of either the man or herself. She has admitted to "affairs of the heart" (specifically in the 1970s with Edward Brooke, then a married United States Senator from Massachusetts) but said the affair was ended to protect their careers from scandal. Sadly, their spouses (or children) were not the reason to end the affair.

It was this affair that came back to haunt WaWa on a recent airing of the view - recounted on VEF by Ona Nism here. This is her latest (and most likely not the last) example of the pot calling the kettle black and when called on it, she responds with her standard, "We are here to talk about you, not me.'"

Looking back on her past interviews, Barbara Walters indicated regret when forcing singer Ricky Martin to open up about his sexuality in a 2000 interview and reveals that her questions, more than likely, ended his career. "In 2000, I pushed Ricky Martin very hard to admit if he was gay or not, and the way he refused to do it made everyone decide that he was," she told The Toronto Star. "A lot of people say that destroyed his career, and when I think back on it now, I feel it was an inappropriate question."

At the same time, she insists that Martin should have been aware the questions would be asked even though that topic was agreed to be, "off limits/out of bounds." (According to Ricky Martin's manager)

Barbara Walters has continually been a loyal friend and fierce attacker for those close to her or her beliefs.

Recently Walters did her best to defend Anthony Weiner's wiener pics saying the pics were probably intended for his wife.. Not!

Tracey Gold is an American actress and former child star (No pics pre 1987) who is still probably still best known for playing 'Carol Seaver' on the 1980's sitcom 'Growing Pains'. With her family background she unsurprisingly has been an actress since the age of four, first appearing in a Pepsi print ad. She appeared in two canceled series, 'Shirley' in 1979, and 'Goodnight Beantown' in 1983. She played one of Albert Finney and Diane Keaton's four daughters in the 1982 feature film 'Shoot the Moon'.

In 1985, she auditioned for the role on 'Growing Pains', but was not cast in the pilot but was for the series. 'Growing Pains' ran from 1985 until 1992 and Gold became a teen star. In 1988, she also starred in the teen film 'Dance 'til Dawn' ..... little did she know that this was her peak fame career moment (but they never do, do they?). After the end of the, Gold continued to work as an actress but almost entirely in made for TV or straight to DVD movies.

She then spent a few years battling with anorexia nervosa, and photos of her body were plastered all over tabloid magazines, and she was one of the first celebrities ever to be formally outed for anorexia, but eventually she recovered and resumed her film career aged 25 in the 1994 TV movie 'For the Love of Nancy' (pics below) .... She was a contestant on 'Celebrity Mole 2: Yucatán' in 2004 She is currently hosting the mini-show 'Trapped in TV Guide' and is the host of 'The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom'. In early 2009, she co-hosted on the live show 'GSN Live'.

Arrest:

In 2004, she was arrested by officers of the California Highway Patrol for drunk driving after rolling her SUV down a California freeway embankment .... somewhat shamefully (and unusually for DUI's on this thread), her husband and three young boys were passengers when she chose to drive the vehicle.

She was charged under her married name, Tracey Gold Marshall with a felony count of driving under the influence causing injury. According to a CHP spokesman, she was driving on Route 118 when she lost control of the vehicle ... one child broke a bone but no one was fatally injured in the late-night crash .... she spent five hours in the Ventura police cells before being released on $50,000 bail.

• Her younger sister is fellow actress Missy Gold, who appeared on the TV series Benson from 1979 to 1986.
• The surname "Gold" is a shortened form of the name acquired by Tracey and Missy when they were adopted by Actor and Agent 'Harry Goldstein'.
• Missy and Tracey have three younger half-sisters, two of whom, Brandy and Jessie Gold, are actresses.
• Gold was originally cast as the youngest daughter in the original pilot series of the show 'Gimme A Break!' but was replaced by actress Lara Jill Miller when the show went to series.

Kim Delaney is an American actress. She started working as a model for the 'Elite Agency' (a name followers of this thread will recognise for other entries) , whilst still in education and after her graduation, she went to New York and found employment as a model, where she also studied acting.

She started acting in the daytime drama 'All My Children', and then in various numerous television and film roles (the best of which was as a possessed nymphomaniac in the soft-core horror film, 'Temptress'), moving on to lead roles in the series 'Philly' and 'CSI: Miami', (she only appeared in 10 episodes before being written out apparently due to a lack of 'screen chemistry' with male lead David Caruso). Her most famous role was Det. Diane Russell on drama 'N.Y.P.D. Blue'.

Her film career is mixed, with the vast majority of her work being in made for TV or straight to DVD productions ... the highlight maybe "Missions To Mars" in 2000. She currently stars on the Lifetime television drama, 'Army Wives'.

Arrests:

In January 2002, Delaney was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving. She was allegedly driving erratically on the Pacific Coast Highway when a motorist behind her called 911 on his cell phone, giving a play-by-play to police as he followed her for 5 miles, all the way to her home, where police turned up and arrested her after her refusal to complete the field sobriety test or a breathalyzer tests. She subsequently pleaded no contest in February 2002 and was sentenced to two years' probation, fined, and ordered to take a driving class.

VintageKell - Your post of Actress; Tracey Gold reminded me of Dana Plato (November 7, 1964 – May 8, 1999) from the U.S. television sitcom Diff'rent Strokes. I swear, that show was cursed big time.

1983 /19 years old

She admitted to drinking and using recreational drugs during her years on Diff'rent Strokes.

Plato began her career doing television commercials (in over 100) and than played the angelic Kimberly Drummond from 1978 until 1986 before her career went off the cliff, forcing Plato to chose roles that could be considered erotic or even pornographic - her most infamous film is 1997's Different Strokes: The Story of Jack and Jill...and Jill and was rated X.

She appeared in the June 1989 issue of Playboy to show of her new breast implants.


In 1991, Plato took a job at a dry-cleaning store to support herself. On February 28, she entered a video store, produced a gun, and demanded the money from the register. The clerk called 911 saying, "I've just been robbed by the girl who played Kimberly on Diff'rent Strokes". Fifteen minutes after the robbery, Plato returned to the scene and was immediately arrested. The gun was only a pellet gun and the robbery netted Plato $164.


Police found that Plato apparently took an accidental drug overdose of the painkiller Lortab along with Valium on May 8, 1999, Mother's Day
Almost 11 years to the day of Dana Plato's death, on May 6, 2010, Plato's son Tyler Lambert died at age 25 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On a side note: This was actually a hard one to write for many reasons, mostly because so many actions and decisions by others (who were close to her) and than a slew of tragic events took her to a place (within her mind) that was dark. Through an inner strength and love of life she lifted herself out of that darkness and was starting to turn things around.

Sadly, even her death was misunderstood by many as a suicide rather than the accidental death the police believed it to be. (Her death was ruled a suicide in technical compliance of the laws of the State of Oklahoma.) Additional info can be found here.

Mischa Barton is a British-American fashion model, film, television, and stage actress, probably best known for her role as 'Marissa Cooper' in the American television series 'The O.C.' .... I have heard of her name, but not what she did (which is kind of a clue to her fame).

Barton began acting at the age of eight and after doing kids TV in August 2003, she started in 'The O.C.' and thats about it. Lots of guest appearances on TV shows, and a film career that includes an R-rated comedy film 'Virgin Territory'. Most of her other efforts have apparently gone straight to DVD ....

Oh, and in January, 2010, Barton was sued by her New York landlord for refusing to pay three months of $7,000 per month rent on her apartment.

In July 2009, after seeking medical attention for a tooth infection, Mischa Barton was sectioned for two weeks under a 5150 that allows a psychiatrist to involuntarily confine a person deemed to have a mental disorder that makes them a danger to themselves and others.

Of the incident, she said: “If they feel you are depressed or a danger to yourself they can hold you on a 5150. I am terrified of needles and they wanted to pump me full of drugs and I said, "No, absolutely not. I don't want to be here," and got into a fight with the nurses, and that led to my 5150".

And finally in December 2007, she was arrested on a drunk driving charge in Los Angeles. Then aged 21, the actress was pulled over by sheriff's deputies in West Hollywood, after her vehicle was spotted "straddling two lanes of traffic", and she failed to signal when making a turn. After being pulled over, the former star of "The O.C." was found to have been driving under the influence (and without a license), and for possession of marijuana. She was booked at the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, where her bail was set at $10,000.

Yasmine Bleeth is an American actress. She undoubtedly is best known for her television role as 'Caroline Holden' in the long-running series 'Baywatch'. At the age of six, she appeared on Candid Camera. Later that year she appeared in a Max Factor cosmetic advertising campaign and starred in her first movie in 1980 at the age of 12 in 'Hey Babe!'. When she was 16 she was working on the soap opera 'Ryan's Hope' .. she then went on to star in the soap opera 'One Life to Live'.

Then came "Baywatch" and the rest as they say is history.

Addictions and Arrests:

In December 2000, Bleeth voluntarily entered the Malibu-based Promises Rehabilitation Clinic to overcome a cocaine addiction. Bleeth later wrote that her cocaine habit was so severe that she collapsed at a photo shoot for Glamour, and she went without sleep for five days at a time.

Bleeth was arrested in September 2001 by Michigan police and charged with cocaine possession. This was following an 'accident' when her car pulled off the highway and wound up on a median on Interstate 94 near Detroit. No other cars were involved. Police searched the car and found four syringes with an injectable form of cocaine in them, and a small plastic bag with cocaine residue on it. The next day police conducted a search of her hotel room, and they found more cocaine and drug paraphernalia. The actress pleaded guilty in a plea bargain, to one criminal count of possessing less than 25 grams of cocaine and to driving while impaired, and was sentenced in January 2002 to two years probation and 100 hours of community service.
