Dawn Steele
I don't know much about this beauty as I'm on the wrong side of the ocean, but I was surprised to see she didn't have her own thread here (I'm trusting the search engine being honest), especially after seeing her mentioned in the thread "Women who owe it to Mankind to get their boobs out.." So, I figured I'd start one and hopefully some of you kind folks on the side of the ocean where Dawn's a bit more common can add what you have.
Biography: Dawn Anne Steele (born 11 December 1975 in Glasgow) is a Scottish actress. Dawn studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow from 1994 - 1998 and graduated with First Class Honours in July 1998, as well as winning the Silver Medal at the RSAMD. Her interest in the performing arts led to a career in television, landing the role of Alexandra "Lexie" MacDonald from the hit BBC drama Monarch of the Glen. She would stay in the role for the first six series of the show (1999-2004) and is probably best known for it. Following Monarch of the Glen, she next appeared as paranormal investgator Justine McManus in the supernatural drama Sea of Souls for the final two of three series in the show (2005-2006). In between the two series, Dawn made an appearance as a student on the celebrity reality show Fame Academy for the charity Comic Relief. Dawn also starred in a one-off BBC One comedy, Magnolia, which aired in 2006. Taking a break from television, she was next found playing the promiscuous beautician Shazza in Simon Farquhar's powerful Aberdonian drama Rainbow Kiss at the Royal Court Theatre in London's West End during 2007. In November, she made her pantomime debut as the Wicked Witch Carrion in Sleeping Beauty at the King's Theatre, Glasgow. In 2009 Dawn returned to TV screens in the 4th series of ITV's Wild at Heart as a replacement for Amanda Holden. Dawn Steele in Sea of Souls
I've been a fan since they ran Sea of Souls on BBC America a few years back, which, unfortunately has been about the only place I've spotted her in the USA and I never taped any of those shows. Luckily, the Chiller horror network recently started showing Sea of Souls on Sunday evenings (along with Hex, Strange and Spine Chillers) and tonight they aired the first episode that Dawn appeared in, "Amulet."
