In a piece called CRASH! by J G Ballard
featuring Gabrielle Drake

One of her breasts is seen in extreme close-up while taking a shower in a sequence where the sleek contours of an ostentatious American automobile are reverentially juxtaposed with close-up sections of a woman's body to emphasise the sexuality inherent in a car's outward design.

Her face is not seen in a continuous same shot, so your guess is a good as mine if it's actually her breast.

It is part of a 17-minute segment during the programme in which author J G Ballard puts forward his thoughts on the modern fascination with motor cars.
Gabrielle Drake appears throughout the piece as an imaginary woman Ballard sees giving form to his descriptive pieces.

Here is a recent photo of Gabrielle Drake as she looks today, aged 70 by my reckoning. This photo (copyright info at top) is being used to promote her new book about her late brother 'Nick Drake: Remembered for a While'. The book is being published this week by John Murray for VEFers who may be interested.

I have quite a few of this lovely lady (one of my first teen fantasies ... eek) and although they are all very clean, they are essentially duplicates but I trawled the thread and I think these are all new to this thread.

According to IMDB's Common Title Search the only thing they appeared in together was an episode of ITV Playhouse entitled The Tycoon broadcast on 30 December 1968.
