I always knew that when I came to bed and found that my wife had been reading the letters part of Penthouse, it was going to be a fun evening.

I sent a letter to Mayfair and it appeared about a year later having undergone a radical rewrite and under a psuedonym. I can't remember which edition but it was circa 1992 and was about shagging my Australian cousin.

What a splendid thread!
Given; for the most part the letters and stories were poorly written, but, there were some brilliant regular slots in the 80's/90's. The My Sexual Fantasy section in Esc*rt was superb! It is difficult to know if they were written for the mag or contributed by readers, however, there was something about the perspective they were mostly written from (3rd person narrator) that set them apart from the readers letters. The stories were excellent as well, likely the reason why Esc*rt rates as my favourite. Kn*ve and Men *nly had great 'confession' stories, and if I remember correctly, they both had bonkers stories about wedding orgies, department stores and all sorts of convoluted scenario's. Hmmm - I appear to have digressed slightly, apologies...Clearly a whist full trip down memory lane! But I agree whole-heartedly, would be great to be reminded of the letters and stories read in line with the awesome women who graced the pages. |

For those of us who relish a little literary entertainment Galaxy Publications, producers of Fiesta and its stablemeate Knave, produce an A5 size compendium of smut called "Fiesta Reader's Letters" and "Knave Penpower". Each contains nearly 200 pages of fevered scribblings with a smattering of pictures to remind us what women really look like. As I recall they are produced twice a year and they are up to over 30 volumes of each title.

Trying to source copies of the Penpower and Readers Letters. Penpower always had a lot of my favourite subject, exhibitionist wives. Started reading these as a teenager i think it was late 70s or early 80s. Still get a boner thinking back to some of the situations and have even recreated several with my 1st wife and present wife. I am in Australia and they are impossible to find nowadays. Galaxy website gives no help as to how to obtain old or new copies. Any help would be apreciated.

I well remember a letter in Knave in the 1970s about a bloke shagging his mother in law and wife together. I must have read it hundreds of times. Sadly I got rid of the magazine many years ago but I wish I hadn't.

I had a short letter published in Forum that involved no sex at all. It was about a guy who lived next door to a hairdresser whose husband was exceptionall small (height). The guy thought he was sure to get the girl ebcause he knew he had a bigger package, but not so. The tempting invite simply produced a rejection. I was surprised they published it. My next one was in Fiesta Letters Magazine and invloved a secretary shagging three guys in the boardroom. I named her Audrey and it ehstory was written in the first person but at the end the Editor added a totally different name and location. It did win mew a few mags though as letter on the month.

Yes I sent one off to Fiesta in the early 2000's. I told it in the first person, it involved me and some friends picking up a young woman in a nightclub taking her back to mine and we all fuck her. It was published in the Fiesta mag and then the Readers letters magazine. Annoyingly I sold the letters magazine, forgetting my story was in it.
I've got my original story on file somewhere but missing the end of it. It annoyed me that Fiesta changed the ending in the mag as i felt my story end was far superior.
