What about Traci Lords?

Hello everybody!
Could you clarify it for me? I never found any tiny lousy picture of Traci Lords!

Even clothed one! Why? Is she so off-limits here?

Talking about Traci is OK , however pictures and movies are banned due too her underage work.... and too avoid confusion, possible mistakes and setting a precedent, the best course of action is a blanket ban.

Sure, you can find pics of her all over the web if you search....but remember that except for one film (Traci, I Love You), all of her adult work was done when she was under the age of 18, so it's legally child porn.

As Estreeter said, best thing to do about her is to avoid ALL pics/videos of her entirely.

A porn board like this only really survives if the content originators are unaware of it...hence why the names of certain magazines aren't spelled out properly. if the mag run by a certain robe-wearing 80+ year old wanted to, they could shut this site down in nothing flat.

The first thing anyone should do when visiting a new forum is to read the rules. On our home page the very first heading says: Read This First!. In there you will find a list of all the material which is banned here along with lots of other info you should know.

Also it's hard to determine exactly which photos of her are legit and which aren't, so a blanket ban is unfortunately the only way to handle this.

Yeah....I've seen a few from her early shoots and she did NOT have the bod of a 15 year old...very easy to see how she could've fooled producers.

Whereas I can fully understand not posting anything old of Traci Lords, since she went legitimate and became a proper actress I fail to understand why some her pics cannot be posted either here or elsewhere-the woman is now well of age and loads of her later pictures are around the Net, with no possible confusion with her past stuff.

Completely agree on this.

However, allowing this legit stuff could open the door to those contributors who arrive later think that it's open house... Meaning that the mods would have to keep a constant eye on any threads or worse pull something that may be worthwhile just because someone posted up some of the marginal stuff.

I generally hate banning anything that is legal and above board by simple connection and/or implication, but safe is safe is safe here I think.

We have enough problems with dimwits who don't read the rules posting Traci movies in the Classic movie section as it is. If we allow legal pics of her here, it would probably open the floodgates and we could do without that.

Better to leave things as they are....

Not that I would post her POM pictorial here, but does anyone know if that issue is legal/illegal/gray area?

They sold millions of the Sept. '84 issue because of the Vanessa Williams scandal... they are regularly for sale on eBay. I don't think that issue could be buried if they tried. Has anyone ever been prosecuted for selling/buying/owning it?
