I guess the American dream still exists. It is just a little harder to obtain now days. Takes a little more work, you can't just sit on the couch in your boxers watching MTV, getting loaded while eating chili out of a can with your fingers.

Things are more competitive, it's like a race. Some come in first and some last; some in the middle. Life is not fair and was never intended to be. Fair is what comes to the fairgrounds each summer. If life was fair, I would be living large like Hugh Hefner.

All I need are my guns, scotch and porn. I made it this far without a government handout or charity from some rich corperation. It's just a fucking rat race. Deal with it.

Same in the UK and i bet there are people in India, and China saying the same thing

...Do ya think the USA or Ozz or Newzealand would take a broken old cynic like me....I can work 50 hours a week if needed?

Speaking as an American, like all nations, the USA is neither as good as its manic boosters believe nor as bad as its harsh critics believe. US Americans as a whole do seem to believe in their right to be addressed in English and given special consideration anywhere in the world.
