Is there still a problem as its driving me to drink, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not and I am forever returning to threads just so it works.

Earlier i had similar problems, currently not, but then error messages were visible between the posts on the page and sometimes also on the very top of the page!

You're not alone having trouble using the "Thanks" button. I am as well and Tabler mentioned similar troubles in a PM.

I can't offer any insight as to why or what's being done to fix it other than it's being worked on.

for me it is now three and out so if you have not been thanked it is not for want of trying, perhaps the net time I visit a thread it might work.

for the past few weeks, on occasion the thanks button hasn't worked for me , not every time. almost seems random.

additionally, there have been a "message from webpage" box but when I click on it, it goes away and there is no message.

if anyone has sent me messages and not received a reply I apologize for my rudimentary computer skills.

Ditto for me too. I try THREE times by refreshing the page and then I give up, but most of the popular posters know me and that I will try and thank them if I can. A minor inconvenience compared to the Timed out page that comes up all too frequently. ip don't know if it is the browser (I use two Firefox and new one Pale Moon) but each time it crashes and it could be the forum is still not 100% yet.

I actually refresh/F5 every page that I leave a thanks on.
It shouldn´t of course be necessary,but since I can not be 100% sure that
the thanks will register,I update,and it seems to be working fine.
I don´t even have to wait for the page to refresh every picture,I just wait a sec to see that it has changed,then I move on.
Sometimes I check to see that it works,and for now,it seems so.

I use the Google Chrome browser, and have not had any recent problems getting the "Thanks" button to register. Haven't had to make multiple attempts or refresh pages during the latter half of February.
