I'm not sure if anyone is interested, but I found some of the images I created for Kia's old website, including a couple of shots from the Right Connection cover shoot, and how I changed those pics for buttons on Kia's site.

Curious scene, Victoria Lee spoiled the facial for Kia and also almost ruined the clean-off..., wouldn't be surprised if her butt got kicked afterwards.

May be she was bitchy since she had found out that Kia got a much higher (if also well deserved

) pay for the same scene. As you are the expert dear Mr.Sparkle: I've read on another forum that Kia was during her heyday the best paid non-contract (Asia Carrera and Kobe Tai were contract girls at this time) asian actress in the business. Is this true or only gossip?

I know she was doing ok under her first contract, I think it was something set up by Scotty Fox, but I could be mistaken about that. I won't get into her personal life or financial situation too much other than to say I learned some things hanging out with her, stuff that might seem obvious now. One of which is the much sought after box cover. For someone who was freelance, Kia got a pretty fair share of box covers, even after her first deal (with Legend? I forgot) was over. She also had pretty good control over who she would work with and what she would do. And of course, she commanded a lot more as a feature dancer because she had so many box covers. Rotax, if what you say is true, I'd say it's a testament to her shrewd biz abilities, because I never really thought she was very popular, especially in contrast to Kobe Tai and Asia C, among others.

Here's one of those rare Kia movies that I had searched for but never seen. Two Wongs Make a White. Great flick, lower budget, but good cast of ladies and all involved came ready to work. Kia gets rocked early on. Huge thanks to Matisse1966 for the post!
