The strange thing is, you don't have to agree with them to see it's clever, apart from being very funny

1) They poke America in the eye as part of general policy and 2) also because of the Syria disagreement, and 3) they make conservatives ridiculous by appearing to side with them - three birds with one stone!

Agreed, brother Palo. It is brilliant on the part of Pravda. It is a win/win situation for them on all accounts. Reading that rant and seeing it on Pravda made me laugh and brightened my morning. I also sent the link to some friends that are also veterans/survivors of the cold wars.

Yes, and the English version is nearly always the funniest. They only translate about 5-6 articles per day iirc, and usually they choose the most outrageous

As a lover of History, i have allways respected/admired the idea that was America. A land for the poor, that morphed in to a nation. You have to admit its an amazing thing, from a few hundred colonies on the edge of a vast wildnerness to a super power in 200 odd years

. But the idea of a land for all, opportunity for all has long diead

If youre rich in America you are pampered and protected. A small minority, dont forget that those at the bottom have a really miserable/ rotten time. Those people are slowly reallising America is not what the Declaration of Independance and the Founding Fathers dreamed of.
