Why not a thread to give a heads up about some movie or tv programme
that is soon to be on .... ?
I m so tired of learning about some great tv programme the day after !

Thurs nov 19 th
11 pm The Cheekys are on 'Pants Off lets Dance' Viva (Sky 358)

10pm channel 4 mariah carey

3pm ITV Janet Street Porter ( for the guys with a glasses fetish )

These heads up as you call them are put there to see who shows a real interest in a thread-for example I told people several times in advance about the forthcoming film "The Notorious Bettie Page" with Gretchen Mol at least a week before-the only way you can possibly keep up would be to search every thread which would be impossible-if however the girl in question is on a thread you regularly post on then it makes sense to give advance warning-it also shows the genuine posters from the casual ones or lurkers. Of course the other alternative is to scan the papers or listing magazines a week before(and most get them in advance anyway) and see who is around-chances are someone you like will appear like for example Linda Lusardi on a recent Hole in the Wall episode-I told people well in advance and had you been a fan you would have checked that thread when it appeared updated to see any news.
