An interesting video of a performance by the Bonzo Dog Band (1960s?). About 2 minutes in an attractive stripper appears and does her act. As the original poster mentions someone cut the 'naughty bits' out. Still I think it is worth a look. Does anyone recognize her?

What a find!! The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band (as they were then called) has always been one of my favorites. If you pay attention to what's happening around the stripper you'll see George Harrison and John Lennon in front row seats in the audience. The song is a prime example of early camp. Certainly 1960s.
The song is on their LP Gorilla, released 1967.

By George (Harrison) you are correct sir!
You can identify John's voice when he says "Come on, where are they?". Fascinating.
Watch (if you can ignore Ms. Carson) where John's hand ends up after she begins her act.

A mixture of themes here....Benny Hill's 'Love Machine' performing from 1977, good old fashioned striptease, classic thigh length boots...and the lovely Holly Gibbons bringing the whole lot together in a naughty fantasy artwork 2010 re-make......ideally this would be with 3 others! I love the feel of the original routine...especially the combination of the boots and long slinky skirts.

I have attached an image that has been driving me mad!
I know that this is from a danish striptease video which half downloaded for me - I consider it to be traditional in that the lady takes off her clothes to music (reminds me of my local in the early 90s without the beer and crowd!).
Please does anyone have anymore of these in full video form - almost as good, does anyone know where I can get more of this particular performer (stripping or in movies etc), all I know is that her name is Diana

Amazingly, after a long while I have finally found her name, (like buses, nothing for ages then 2 at once!!). It is Diana Jensen fra Valby, don't know whether this is her name plus a bit or what). I think she is a well known stripper in Denmark - anything else of her, stripping or "performing"?

mashedpotato has the right idea-much as I like the clips above they are not what he and I would call 100% 'traditional striptease'-the meaning of this has been explained before but perhaps it should be done again for newbies. A traditional striptease(in this country) harks back to the late 70's possibly early 80's in pubs/clubs/nightclubs etc, where the girl comes out on stage wearing very sexy clothes and starts to peel them off whilst dancing or at least moving in a sexy way. What makes it better is something that you just don't get from modern music-that unbelievable stirring in your trousers from the sleazy jazz/big band sound usually involving a muted trumpet and drums. The slower the rhythm, the hotter the performance, and this goes all the way back to the days of Gypsy Rose Lee. To me that sort of performance is 'traditional' rather than some girl leaping onto a pole or sitting on a chair getting covered in some sort of liquid gunk!
The other thing of course was most strippers were very classy although the pub strippers were just in it for the money and didn't really care about what they looked like let alone if they could dance or not. I might just add that I myself have never seen a stripper up close in a pub or club because I was miles underage when it was at its height.

I've had the same problem with googling it too mate. I just got mine from an old tape that I recorded years ago. I think it's still repeated on tvx occasionally but I'm not subscribed. If anyone is a subscriber and gets chance to upload one, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd appreciate it.
I have a few more soty vids but I'm trying to spread the uploads out a bit to see if I get any responses from anyone else who has any vids or info. Do you have anything from it?
