Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 40

imagebam has often server downtimes. try reloading.

imagebam also has issues with kaspersky antivirus. if this software runs on your system, imagebam performance is allways bad.

if you browse with firefox, uninstall imagegrabber, it sucks with several hosts.

instead, install downthemall plugin and downthemall anticontainer plugin for firefox.

for pimpandhost, go to the gallery of an image and "download gallery as zip".

I write my own script for downloading stuff from different file hosts, and pimpandhost is one of them. As I understand they use 2 different URL schemes. I'll share if anybody is interested.
I use a Unix clone and thus my script is probably useless if you use something from Microsoft.

What addons works for some might not work so well for others, depending on what operating system they use.

Well, using the current Host File database ImageHost Grabber works on Pimpandhost links.

downthemall works with p&h, too, but sadly this stupid host often connects the thumbs with medium sized images and not with the originals..

IHG accounts for that and gets the originals.

I've been happily using downthemall w/ anticontainer for months.
But, as of this week, it no longer seems to work with imagebam posts.
Does anyone know any tweaks?

seems imagebam has changed the url for its fullsize images so the anticontainer for imagebam can't resolve a working adress from the actual url pattern. hopefully there will be an update soon. other managers will have the same problem i guess..
