Who is Carlie Beck?
Carlie Beck, real name Carlie Becker, is the cheerleading coach Playboy published nude photos of — on the Playboy website, she is called “Carlie Christine”. Carlie Beck was fired from her coaching position after the photos surfaced. Her story is all over the news these days — her students are standing up for her, demanding that she be given her job back.
Carlie Beck was Playboy’s “Cyber Girl of the Week” early in 2009. The story only broke because of an angry parent. The mother of a girl who was unable to try out for the cheerleading team is reported to have brought Beck’s Playboy photos to the school’s administration, ultimately leading to Carlie Beck’s termination. Other sources cite “cheerleaders that were cut from the team” wanted a kind of “revenge” on their coach, 20-year-old Carlie Becker, by “exposing her nude Playboy shots” under the name Carlie Christine, to school authorities who promptly fired her.

(July 15) -- Sexy jailer Jessie Lunderby has to turn in her handcuffs.
The 21-year-old has been fired from her job as an Arkansas corrections officer for posing nude.
An Arkansas prison guard who posed naked for P*** is out of a job.

Jessie Lunderby, 21, was fired Wednesday after meeting with officials for the first time since she was put on paid administrative leave on June 20. Washington County Sheriff’s Department say they dismissed Lunderby for being a “distraction in the facility” and violating an unwritten ethics code after the petite married mother stripped off for a June photoshoot as P***’s “Cyber Girl of the Week.”

The 21-year-old blonde beauty, who was named Cyber Girl of the Week by that magazine, was fired from her job last summer as her department felt that her nude photos were distracting and would “generate much interest among the detainees in our public jail.”

Prison officials were quick to denounce Lunderby’s photos as a violation of workplace codes of conduct: conduct unbecoming an officer or employee, not getting permission for off-duty work, not engaging in certain types of jobs, and a policy addressing sexual conduct.
Major Rick Hoyt of the sheriff’s office said the department’s policies include one barring “conduct unbecoming of an officer or employee of the department.”
Hoyt also said that a sheriff’s office employee must get permission for off-duty work and one that forbids working in some specific types of jobs, “and one of those has to do with sexual conduct.”
Lunderby has become an Internet sensation, with a Hollywood agent and is fielding movie offers.
“Their plan backfired,” Lunderby told AOL News back in July. “At first, I was like, ‘I’m going to sue the pants off them.’ But now, I don’t have time for them. I’m kind of busy now.”

Lunderby’s ex-agent, Gina Rodriguez of DD Entertainment, said she was planning big things for the blond jailer. “She’s beautiful, she’s smart, she sings,” Rodriguez said. “She’ll do really well.”
Lunderby is now working at an Arkansas Hooters and Rodriguez says she is no longer representing the former detention officer.
“Most of the things we would book were in Los Angeles and it was hard for her to get to them,” Rodriguez said this week. “We really couldn’t do much for her, so we moved on.”
But for Lunderby, the fun fallout from her Playboy photo shoot has continued. The Arkansas native has since been picked up by GC Marketing, another publicity firm, and has continued to work with Playboy.
On her company profile, Lunderby says she likes her new gig. “There isn’t an event that I’ve worked for them that I didn’t leave happy,” she said of Playboy.

“I’m working at Hooters and I love it,” Lunderby. “Everything is going well.”
She is now dominating multiple Year in Review summaries of the biggest news scandals of 2010.
To most men, Lunderby’s Playboy spread is a dream come true. Most often than not, guys like girls in sexy “cop” costumes and fantasize about it. Jessie Lunderby here is the real deal. She is real, a real “Miss Officer” posing for Playboy.

Default Marla Collins

The Cubs have fired many men over the years, but 22 years ago the Cubs made the news when they fired a woman. Not just any woman...their ballgirl! Her name was Marla Collins. While it's true that Marla was a ballgirl, she wasn't exactly a kid. She was "all grown up in all the right places" as Cubs broadcaster Harry Caray used to say. She dressed in a skimpy Cubs outfit and ran the balls out to the umpire, and Harry talked about her quite a bit. The cameramen at WGN also were known to focus their cameras on Marla quite a bit more than they did for a typical ballgirl.
The result was that Marla became one of the most popular attractions in Wrigley. At the peak of her popularity, she was so famous that she got her own shoe contract. But this week 22 years ago, Marla's 15 minutes of fame came to a crashing end. The Cubs got the news that ended her career. They discovered that their young innocent ballgirl Marla (whom Harry and the WGN cameramen had turned into a sex object for several seasons) had posed for nude pictures for Playboy.
The Cubs were shocked (SHOCKED!) when she posed nude in Playboy, and fired her when it was announced. She appeared in the September issue of Playboy, but she never again appeared in her cute little outfit on her cute little metal folding chair at Wrigley Field.
And she has never been adequately replaced.

Wink Marcie Betts

HAGERSTOWN, Md. -- A lawyer for the state told a judge Thursday that a prison guard was fired for her own safety after nude photographs of her raised quite a ruckus at her prison. The state is appealing a November order by an administrative law judge who agreed with Marcie Betts that the pictures of her are a constitutionally protected form of self-expression, and that she should be reinstated with back pay. Washington County Circuit Court Judge Donald E. Beachley indicated it would be at least six weeks before he rules on the case, and both sides expect further appeals. Betts, 23, of Hagerstown, has testified that she and her husband took the pictures after she had applied for the prison job but before she was hired at the Roxbury Correctional Institution. She said she sold 81 pictures for $300 to a Web site that specializes in nude photos of tattooed women. One of the photographs also appeared in a tattoo magazine. Maryland prison inmates are allowed sexually explicit material but cannot use computers connected to the Internet. Betts was fired Jan. 29, 2003, after eight days on the job, for "conduct unbecoming a corrections officer" stemming directly from the pictures. On her fifth day of work, an inmate and a fellow officer asked Betts about the photographs, Assistant Attorney General Scott S. Oakley said. The next day, photographs printed from the Web site were placed anonymously under the warden's door, Oakley said. "During the eight days that she was there, there was quite a ruckus," he said. The state contends that inmates eventually would have seen the photos of Betts and perceive her as a sex object putting her at an increased risk of sexual assault or blackmail. Betts' lawyer, Lawrence G. Walters, said her free-speech rights trump the state's safety concerns. This is a case about to what extent the government can use its position as an employer to censor people's thoughts and speech in their off time he said.
Stupid thing is, should anything happen to her post reinstatement, there will probably be a fat lawsuit against the state for not firing her. These are the only ones I can find. I Would like to see more... Fired Maryland prison guard settles nude-photo case The state of Maryland will pay a former corrections officer $10,000 to drop her claim that she was wrongly fired for appearing nude on the Internet and in a magazine, representatives from both sides said this week.. The settlement vacates an administrative law judge's decision ordering the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to reinstate Marcie Betts at Roxbury Correctional Institution near Hagerstown. The sum would be about half of Betts' accumulated back pay since her firing on Jan. 29, 2003, said Lawrence Walters, Betts' attorney. He said Betts, 23, was moving out of state and had agreed to the settlement because she was no longer interested in reinstatement. Betts couldn't be reached for comment; her home telephone number in Hagerstown is no longer in service. Public safety agency spokesman Mark Vernarelli said the settlement contained no state admission or acknowledgment of wrongdoing or liability. From our perspective, this has never been about freedom of expression. It's always been about prison security he said.

I generally don't think anyone should be fired for taking their clothes off, but THIS I can understand. What the HELL was she thinking?

I used to know a lady who was an ex-prison guard. The job is five times as difficult for women to begin with. When there are riots, for example, women guards become targets for every horned-up prisoner in the place (in my naivety, until I talked to my friend I never even realized that women were allowed to guard in men's areas). The last thing a female guard should want to do is emphasize her femininity (not that many of them have a great deal of it; the job attracts a rough crowd, my old friend included).

Prisoners these days have a lot of access to the internet, and like everywhere else, the smart ones can easily get to the parts that are supposedly blocked. A female prison guard who puts herself, nude, in the public eye is just asking for trouble. She might as well just paint a big target on her uniform.

how about someone that got fired for starting her own adult website? Dakota Rae and her then husband were working at a Phoenix area hospital when it was found out that they had a website were they doing live webcam shows and adult photos. Don't know if that qualifies as well.

Every post on this thread can be summed up as "What the hell was she thinking? The pattern seems to be: Woman with high-profile job poses nude; employer goes bananas and fires her; model becomes martyr for girlie mags everywhere. Except many vanish into obscurity after their 15 minutes of martyrdom are up, and even worse, they lost their dream job.

Here is the ultimate What The Hell Was She Thinking girl:
Michelle Manhart (born 1976) is a former Air Force Staff Sergeant and Training Instructor based at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. In January 2007 she was relieved of duty and placed under investigation for posing nude in PB magazine. She has since been demoted to Senior Airman, a move which caused her to resign from the Air Force.
Manhart, a California native, joined the Air Force in 1994, and is married with two children. Playboy wouldn't have photographed her, or even interviewed her if she had applied as is. Michelle Manhart used her military career to get noticed and in the process dishonored the uniform, which represents honor and integrity.
"This staff sergeant's alleged action does not meet the high standards we expect of our airmen, nor does it comply with the Air Force's core values of integrity, service before self, and excellence in all we do," Oscar Balladares, spokesman for Lackland Air Force Base, said in a statement. To hear Manhart tell it, she expected a dust-up, never a demotion, for the fleshy spread titled “Tough Love.” Her critics wonder how she could have been so naïve.

How is a uniform dishonoured by it's wearer posing for pics - I thought the US was all about liberty?
