Brigitte Ariel is my favorite in "Rosebud", and a very good reason to rewatch the movie (apart from it being an underestimated Preminger).
Unfortunately, she's got a relatively minor role here and has not been in that many movies besides this one (most notably probably her starring as Edith Piaf in "Piaf" (1974) - I've got to get a copy of that one).

The history of this: her original performance of this song came during the closing credits of LWT's 'The London Weekend Show' TX'd in 1975, that is the clip I posted at #2129, based on the YouTube link posted by 'akane' at #2126. It was then shown as an out-take in 1977 on the BBC's "It'll Be Alright on the Night" which is the clip you have posted at #2138. So that's the same as mine but without the cast credits and TCR. This is now quite a famous clip and has been shown worldwide including in the US on "TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes" (TX'd in 1984) which I'm guessing must be on a cable channel there! The 'exposure' did not do Little Nell any harm and turned her song into a hit!

@It'll be alright etc.' was in fact an ITV production. However the idea was stolen from the BBC. I remember watching an outtakes compilation programme in the summer of 1976 on the BBC (no audience or tedious presenter) and was quite literally doubled up with laughter. I'd never seen anything as funny in my life. The following year ITV started their long running series.

Thanks for the info Moon Raker I knew the origins of the routine because when Nell Campbell was a guest on "The Word" she talked to Terry Christian about it. Before the routine Janet Street-Porter had told her that they only had one take so that's why when her boobs kept popping out Nell kept going until the end.
