Willy Rey is my all time #1. Possibly the most perfect woman I've ever seen. Melinda Windsor is probably my second. I have many other favorites, but putting them in order after these two would be very difficult.

I myself would go very heavy on the '60s. I feel the '50s and '60s (and the first year or two of the '70s) were the absolute golden age for Playmates. Real girls with natural bodies that were photographed well. Plus, they left something to the imagination.

I know some have fondness for '70s PB because of its more casual fashions and such, but I don't like how porn-ish everything became, both in the lighting, lenses and the new focus on bush. Most of the '80s and beyond aren't as interesting to me, although there have been some gems (Cynthia Brimhall, Christi Taylor, Kim Spicer, Lindsey Vuolo, etc.).

These days, I think a lot of the Cyber Girls, College Girls, Girls Next Door, etc. are much better and more natural than the actual Playmates. I can't stand that PB has become a haven for implant-laden Barbie doll clones. Every once in a while, I'll find one of the PMs with implants really attractive, but I always wish they didn't have them.

I find it interesting, but not surprising, that no one here seems to be a fan of the "New Playmate" look. Clearly online pornography hasn't helped PB but compare the natural beauty, diversity of appearance, and richness of PMs of years past with now and it is no surprise the magazine has been in decline for years.

I would be remiss without beginning with Lisa Matthews, my favorite, but look at Marina Baker, Julie Clarke, Diana Lee, Roberta Vasquez, Wendy Kaye, Renee Tenison, Shannon Long, Carmen Berg, Morgan Fox (and those legs!)... I could keep going. How many would make the centerfold today? The criteria seems to be: blonde, pierced, tattooed, shaved, and an implausibly fake rack. And then there is Photoshop... Sad.

The only PM I have really flipped over in years was Jennifer Walcott and that was in spite, rather than because of, her implants. Thank God we still have the old days to look fondly upon.

Now get off my lawn.

There have been some nice ones in recent years, but they're rare. There's a recent Cyber Girl named Amanda Adams that may be one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen in Playboy! Missy Tarrington is another.

Shaving, piercings and tattoos don't bother me, though. In fact sometimes I really like them. I just get tired of airbrushed, tanned blondes with botoxed faces and fake breasts.
