I had to run some filters to get rid of some grain and audible hum on it, and also found it looked a lot better scaled down. I hope the result is satisfactory. For true Debbie fans like myself, this should be a delicious treat in either case. She is positively gorgeous in this one. Some info: The first few frames is of another model; it is included for musical continuity. The following scene has Debbie and her walking the dunes with Siwer Ohlsson photographing. We then move to the hotel room for a photo session in the shower and subsequently on the hotel bed. This constitutes the bulk of the segment. Finally, an eagle-eye view of a photo session on a pier. The voiceover is a conversation in Swedish between the photographer and journalist Lennart Eriksson. It isn't interesting, in that it doesn't in any way concern Debbie.  A great Christmas present for all Debbie fans - it’s so rare to see video footage of Debbie. As I said in my other message, I didn’t know if she actually featured in the video and I never thought I’d get to see it if she did. Excellent!Thanks also for taking the time to improve the quality of this rare survivor. It would be nice to think they might one day reissue this Video on DVD in Hi Definition - but yes, I have gone totally into the realms of fantasy now!  As far as I know, the only other commercially available video of Debbie was her appearance in Roger Cook’s music video, “Brooklyn Bars” which turned up on an ”Electric Blue” tape; a copy of which was posted in this thread about a year ago by Cueking. This clip did actually reappear a second time in the ‘softcore’ version of EB 18 (if I recall the number correctly) but in a shorter edited down version of the song, although it did have, literally, a few seconds of extra footage that didn’t appear in the earlier version. Right at the end of the clip, Debbie looks up from the table and gives one of her dazzling smiles.  Needless to say, if anyone has, or knows about any other video footage of Debbie, do please post the clip, or the information here. Best wishes for the Festive Season to all VEF members. |

According to the accompanying text, this is a pic of Debbie “having just been evicted from the flat she’d shared with Julian Lennon prior to their break-up“ ; the two chaps in the pic, it seems are the bailiffs. Whether this was true or not, I don’t know, and I won’t repeat the rest of the story given in the article, in case it’s libellous!
 It's funny how a press photographer always just happens to be in the vicinity when these things happen...  Here’s a pic of them in “happier times”  This is a larger & higher resolution pic - but still not perfect - of one I posted a while ago.  |

At any rate it's an improvement on the previous post, which was just barely recognizable as England's #1 contribution to female beauty. BTW, what's your preferred image size/quality? I have a ton of these in paper form, a couple of modestly capable scanners, and a wish to contribute. But people's preferences could vary wildly, from the modest (640*480, 75 dpi) to the ridiculous (3000 by 6000 pixels at 1200dpi resolution, with file size above and beyond 5 MB being no issue. Would be nice to have some kind of consensus on what's acceptable/desirable. Thoughts? "Bigger the better", or "A lil' dab'll do ya"? |

It took bloody ages to make the image stitching program to act right. I scaled it down to something pretty manageable, but have a 5MB version available upon request. Enjoy. |
