Years ago, I remember listening to Radio4, one morning (about 11.30am). I'd tuned into a discussion about acceptable and non-acceptable language through the centuries. We listeners were informed that in the 19th century (18th?) there was an alley-way in London called "Cunt Grope Lane" [no bleeping].

I don't like the word even when its said by women, but as I have said many times here-ANY word, swearing wise is okay when used as throw-away line or to describe something thats not personal-its when its used as an attack word, to describe someone directly, pointing a finger or shouting directly in your face then it becomes taboo and wrong-I think we can find other words to describe a woman's genitalia(theres one already) than resorting to the vulgar terms. We're all adults here, but I like to think that we are above using slang and vulgar terms.
I might add one thing, if anyone uses that word or any other of the 'attack' words against anyone here, they will hit the ground running from the forum thats for sure.
