Hello Mr hos,

I'm somewhat of a stranger here even though I have parsed through some of the threads here occasionally. My primary job on this forum is satisfying requests to color b/w images in the colorizing thread:

Recently there have been a few cases where I or others who follow the thread have provided the id of ladies on the pictures I've been asked to color. Sometimes these are prompted by the requester stating that they don't know who the model is, or, on at least one occasion, when the requester provided a name I knew was wrong for the girl in the picture. No one has specifically asked for the name of a model, their purpose of posting the image is to get it colored.

I've seen numerous posts by moderators all over the forum insisting that model id requests must be made here, under your supervision. I'm just hoping that we aren't upsetting your rice bowl by providing some information in a friendly way without a specific request.

thanks for your post and most important for you - no, i'm absolutely not upset. we mods sure try to avoid id requests which are made at wrong place but we also try to differ between "wrong placed ID questions" and "pure namedroppings without being asked". sometimes it's not easy to find the difference but in most cases it's clear. imho the happenings of ID cases in your thread are on the safe side.

significant for a "model id request" is allways that someone's post includes a major interest to find the name for a specific model. that someone just answers "she is xxx" is secondary - afaik the other mods only remove such posts if there's a clear question about the model id, too.

if anyone comes to your thread and wants "color and id", just tell him: "here you get the color, for the id please visit model id request forum" - but the member must have at least 150 thanks to start threads here. (i would recommend to you as well to not giveaway your spare time for every member of this board, too - imho a member should show himself connected to this forum first before he earns a cool service like yours).

Lot of VTO models aren't listed at IAFD.
Is there other stuff to ID them at single scenes if names of actresses are known?

try egafd.com, you have more luck with european publishers (especially 80s/90s stuff) there.

and please don't start such questions as model id request, cause it isn't one.

freeones - I agree this site is awful for quality and with that in mind maybe the first link into it would be better directed towards its search engines which are as useful as the likes of kellyfind

In my experience the only really worthwhile part of it because it leads straight to the models links page,which in turn leads to their page on the forum which is the only part where you'll find end users posting rare content like that below as opposed to the repetitive commercial nonsense on the listings pages though you'll still get the approved content providers spamming away their usual dross.

members can't delete threads. if this is wanted you can PM a moderator of the related section (in this case, me ) or use a sections problem report thread and add the thread link in question (so the moderator doesn't have to search it).

In Solved Classic Models, I have found some who have aliases other than the names listed. This information is potentially useful to those looking for additional pictures of a model. For example, there is a young model listed as Becky @Hustler (1979). She also appeared in Challenge mags and some minor titles as Robin.

Any suggestions?
