Yeah, Lieutenant Carolyn Palamas (not ensign) was the character's name in the episode Who Mourns for Adonis? http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0708488/ but Kirk didn't get her.

She also wasn't a yeoman but an archeology and anthropology officer.

She was pretty ubiquitous in the 60s. Leslie was also in a couple of Batman episodes starring as "Glacia Glaze" in one as Mr. Freeze's moll.

And as Dawn Robin in a couple of Penguin episodes in 1966.

The beautiful Ms. Parish also featured on a fourth-season episode of "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", "The Master's Touch Affair". She played the (unwilling) girlfriend of Jack Lord's villain in that episode. Since U.N.C.L.E.'s last (fourth) season and ST:TOS's second season were simultaneous, Leslie may have appeared on those two shows within weeks of each other.

Incidentially, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." is now available on DVD from Time-Life in a pricey (but gorgeous) 41-DVD box set. Fans of the beautiful women of the 1960's absolutely need to get this item. Among the lovelies who appeared were Parrish herself, Jill Ireland (at least half-a-dozen episodes; at the time, she was David McCallum's wife), Senta Berger, Sharon Tate, Lola Albright, Nancy Kovack, Luciana Paluzzi, Patricia Crowley, Angela Dorian, Donna Michelle, Dorothy Provine, Janet Leigh, Eleanor Parker, Carol Wayne, Jeannine Riley, Janine Gray, Vera Miles, Sharon Farrell, and many, many others.

Leslie wore the same dress: http://www.trekbbs.com/showthread.ph...203&page=2 in a 'Mannix' episode.

"Seeing that MANNIX was also produced by Desilu/Paramount and was made at the exact same time as STAR TREK I'm not surprised."

"Just checking, I found the airdates were about 6 months apart (Star Trek on 22 September 1967 and Mannix on 16 March 1968) though the shooting dates could have been much closer and the Mannix ep's first showing delayed. TV in general and Trek in particular have a number of stories about something happening just because _________ happened to be in an adjacent soundstage that day, perhaps wearing _________ costume."
