The "C" word in porn and in life...
It seems the word "cunt" was used much more back in the classic days of porn than it is now. It's almost such a taboo word now (in the US, it may differ in other countries), it's almost up there with the "n" word or other racial slurs in terms of indignation and hatred from people.
Personally, I find it very hot when a woman, who is otherwise very demure, uses it..such as "fuck my cunt". But it takes on a whole different meaning when you call a woman a "cunt". But many don't see the distinction and wholesale hate the word no matter what. For me, calling a vagina a "cunt" is hot. Calling a woman one is the quickest way to get punched or kicked in the balls.....if you're into that sort of thing. Your thoughts? |

I think the word pussy is used a lot more now days. I think they got away from the word cunt because it normally was taken in a negative way.

Some friends of mine prefer to say "The Ocean word" rather than say "the c-word"!
I said "what are you talking about ?" They explained....Ocean is to..."sea"....sounds like the letter "c"... |

I adore the word cunt and never use it as a curse-word or a put-down. Such an ancient word; for me it connotes warmth, subtle power and sweet mystery.
In the English language cunt did not become an "obscene" word until after the 1200s. We have to ask why this perfectly good word, which had been openly used for centuries, was made into a "bad" word at that time. Was there some agenda at play?

I love the word and use it all the time, but I am a big Deadwood fan.
In England I don't think the word has as much power as in the US, in the same way piss is a rude word to us Brits, yet I hear the term Pissed (as in Off - not drunk) used all the time on US TV-shows that would otherwise never allow swearing. |

In the US it is taboo, but not in Ireland. It's quite common for mates to greet each other with "how's it goin ye cunt ye"

I was wondering about "elton dong's" reference to Deadwood before, is Deadwood a television programme or somesuch?..
Anyway I remember an old Australian bushman, almost apologetically, using the 'c' word to describe the hole left in the base of a mature tree caused by bushfire.. Seems it was not an uncommon word for those of his generation to describe this damage. |

I'm lucky in that my wife has always referred to hers as her "cunt". She's always used that word and that's what she's always called it...even when she goes to her OB/GYN.
