I have upwards of 4GB of Danica 'footage' (and somewhere in the region of 1.5GB+ of photos from my private collection) and I want to keep adding to it!

Where is she from? I know she is from England but what city??

Did she bring someone with her for protection as doing private shoots must be a high risk, or are you a pro photographer??

I have photographed quite a few models and planning to book Danica (for the first time). Some models bring a chaperone and some don't. This is somewhat of a contentious issue in the modelling world - or as some photographers disparagingly called it - it 'internet' modelling world. People seem to be completely divided on the issue. Some photographers take it quite personally when the models insist on bringing someone with them, as if it is an indirect accusation. It can be quite off-putting having someone else hanging around and sometimes they can be very helpful. If a model does insist on a chaperone for the first booking, she often doesn't bother on the second, once she has got to know you. It will also often depend where the shoot is.

A second contentious issue is GWC or 'guy with camera'. This is basically an accusation that the person booking the shoot is not a photographer or really interested in photographer but just a 'guy with camera' who is only interested in having a naked model inches from their face. Some models - I'M NOT SUGGESTING DANICA IS ONE - are completely paranoid about being booked by GWCs and will run a mile if they sense you are one. Having said this, you can have a perfectly polite and respectful 'GWC' and a rude and abusive 'photographer' - which would you prefer as a model?

Regardless of chaperones, GWCs, and whatnot...

If you are interested in booking a model for a shoot all you need are:

(a) A decent enough camera.
(b) The ability to use it reasonably well.
(c) Somewhere to shoot (a studio, location, hotel room, your house, model's house).
(d) A pleasant attitude
(e) A polite and professional introductory email.
(f) Anywhere from £30 - £90 a hour (min. 2hrs) depending on the level of the shoot.

Some models are more amateur-friendly. I don't know but I suspect Danica is.

One final tip: If you are an amateur and you want the pictures for yourself don't pretend to be otherwise. Model's won't be more impressed or more likely to accept a booking - they'll just won't turn up after you claim to be a professional but can't show them any previous pictures you've taken or where you've been published.

I don't want to sound like a know-it-all, just offering a bit of advice from experience.

I'm neither surprised nor upset that somebody is passing off my edit of somebody else's rip as their own, I just didn't see the point of re-compressing an already small file.

As far as supporting Danica goes, I used to put a pound in the jug and buy a private dance or two when our paths crossed in the old days, but if she does any dancing currently it's at places I don't go to.

Pay sites - I'm wary of anything which doesn't use CCBill as the payment processor, but cancelling rebills is very easy for those sites which do. The good sites with good payment processors will make it clear in the tour how easy it is to cancel, because it's good business.

As a 'professional' photographer I must dissagree with jameshazell, no self-respecting model would go either to the photographers home or to a hotel room. You MUST have a studio with proper lights, flash etc., either your own or a rented one. You must also be proficient with the camera you are using, the last thing they would expect to see is you messing around with settings etc. This not only shows you don't know what your doing, but also wastes time, it's amazing how quickly a two hour session dissappears, it's also bloody expensive. You should also have the shoot planned in advance, i.e. the shots you wish to take, the lighting set-ups you want and any props you need should be at hand. You should also check with the model beforehand what type of pose they are prepared to do, this can avoid a lot of embarassment during the shoot if you ask for a particular position and they won't do it. The other thing to do is make sure that the model signs a release to ensure that if you're lucky enough to sell any pictures that they won't be expecting any publishing fees.
