In the 70s + 80s nudity in public also could be a political statement. And it was used for art performances as well - body painting, video installations etc. Here are some pages of an art performance from 1981. StadtWEGbewegt is a pun: Stadt = City, WEG = both a way and a certain direction and „bewegt“ means both „moving“ and „emotional touched“. The wording is a bit offensive – I am not sure, if the model was aware of the subsequent context when she walked around town. According to the credits the „art performance“ lasted a little more than an hour on a Sunday morning in May 1981. It must have been a chilly morning.
And please keep in mind: Today people in Europe would look, smile or just ignore. There have been several performances like this – with girls still wearing pants. In `81 total nudity was very audacious and treated as a crime. |

2nd b+w Video. August 1978. Shot at an event, where Sylvia performed live on stage. I don't know how many times she performed live - but this one is really hot! Enjoy part 1.
She should have left her hat on... ...according to her nipples she loves to perform live! Last edited by TheoP; October 17th, 2011 at 10:01 AM.. |

This is a short episode in a VHS video collection from 1982 called "Wiener Fotostudios: Versaute Modelle". I never saw anything later than this.
The short episode is called: Fickfleisch (fuckmeat) I believe, Sylvia stopped working as a model after this... Last edited by TheoP; October 18th, 2011 at 01:25 PM.. Reason: adding cover |

O du armes Luder
There is a VHS video from late 1978 simply called: „Sylvia in 3 heißen videos”. It is a collection of 3 short films shot in black and white. According to my information, the first one „Sylvia on stage” was taped live at a party in July or August 1978 at a pubs hall near Vienna – even if there are no party people seen in the video. (It might also be a studio and just been called „live”)
The third video was taped in September 1978 at a photoshoot in a private appartment. It is kind of privately filmed while a photographer shot a pictorial of her, later published in an Italian magazine. All three apprear basically in the same kind of light temperature and same solution, except the live video, here the light is much harder! Technically spoken they must have been shot with same or similar equipment - I belief it was not U-matic but early VHS. (In the late `70 the first VHS video cameras for professional use appeared in the market - huge, expensive and still black + white) The second video „O du Armes Luder” (Oh Poor Minx) - referring to the famous „Story of O” - must have been taped at the same period in a studio in front of a shutter which also appears as background on several other pictures – sometimes green, grey and also bright pink, a typical studio decoration of those days. Here are caps from a long hot scene of „Oh Poor Minx” – other scenes will follow soon. |
