A Discovery
Ahhh!! . . . the return of the stripy sofa! . . . I was beginning to miss it!
On a fairly mundane note my internet researches have revealed a bit of info to add to Liz Leather's biog - her age!
I won't go into details how (very boring) but I have discovered that our girl is now 51 (or was in December 08)
This means that she is a little older than I had estimated in my "Chapter 1" post above, for example, Liz made "Naughty Nieces" when she was around 28 and her early FC appearances, around 26
Two possibilities come to mind: Liz was a "late starter", being mid-20s when she started in the business (not that unusual, Juliet Anderson was 40 when she started!). The more intriguing possibility is, given that Liz was 18 in 1975, she may have worked in the late 70s - an era I've never looked into with her in mind
Any 1970s experts out there who might shed some light on this hopeful speculation?
